Three Stunning High-tech Ceramic Rado Watches Released

In tribute to the modernist architect Le Corbusier, RADO has launched a new True x Le Corbusier® special edition watch. Best luxury replica watches price at Repwatcheaprice, cheap watches for men and women.

Le Corbusier not only changed the appearance of 20th-century architecture, but also proposed the famous Polychromie Architecturale color system, establishing 63 architectural colors with order and emotion. For Rado, this is not just a simple color inspiration, but a complete design concept. Through the medium of watches, architecture is no longer just a structure standing in the city, but is reduced and transformed into miniature architectural art worn on the wrist.

The three True series round watches are inspired by three iconic Le Corbusier buildings. All three watches share the same specifications: a 40mm monolithic high-tech ceramic case and bracelet, 10.4mm thick, and 50-meter water resistance. Inside, the watches are powered by the R763 automatic movement, equipped with a Nivachron™ antimagnetic hairspring, offering an 80-hour power reserve and passing five-position accuracy testing. In short, beyond its stylish design, it also boasts solid everyday wearability.

The first watch, crafted from ivory-white ceramic, draws inspiration from the Cité Radieuse in Marseille, France, completed in 1952. This soft ivory white isn't a coating, but rather a natural result of a sintering process at 1450°C. This is the first time Rado has precisely captured this architectural color on ceramic. The dial features laser-engraved Béton Brut concrete textures, complemented by sky blue, ultramarine blue, and pale blue hands, creating a bright and elegant Mediterranean ambiance.

The second watch, crafted from iron-grey ceramic, pays homage to the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts at Harvard University, completed in 1963. This building, Le Corbusier's only work in North America, is renowned for its sculptural concrete structure. The iron-grey dial also features concrete textures, while the cream-white hour hand, vibrant orange minute hand, and British green second hand create a striking contrast, adding warmth and vitality to the cool industrial aesthetic.

The third model is presented in deep ivory black ceramic, inspired by the Palace of Assembly building in Chandigarh, India, which was completed in 1962. The overall black design makes the orange, emerald green and olive green hands on the dial stand out, creating a strong visual impact. The laser-engraved dial texture echoes the rhythm and order of the building's facade, making it look like a modernist building shrunk down to the size of a watch.
