The Calibre 7139 - New Generation Automatic Skeleton Perpetual Calendar Movement

In 2026, Audemars Piguet will launch its new generation of in-house developed automatic skeletonized perpetual calendar movement, Calibre 7139, reinterpreting the brand's long-standing exquisite skeletonization craftsmanship and classic perpetual calendar complications from a modern perspective. While adhering to ergonomic design principles, the movement features the "All-in-One Crown" adjustment system, introduced in 2025 to celebrate the brand's 150th anniversary, ensuring intuitive and convenient operation, and employing a harmonious and balanced calendar display layout for enhanced readability. Super Audemars Piguet Clone Watches, Replica Watches On Sale - Clonesuperwatch.is.

The intricate skeletonization allows light to fully penetrate the movement's components, showcasing the exquisite beauty within. Following the elegant retirement of Audemars Piguet's long-used Calibre 5135 skeletonized perpetual calendar movement last year, the new Calibre 7139 movement continues to open new technical and aesthetic horizons for this astronomical calendrical complication, making its debut in two new 41mm timepieces: the first skeletonized perpetual calendar watch in the Audemars Piguet CODE 11.59 series, crafted in classic black and white, and a piece in the Royal Oak series, featuring a combination of titanium and block metallic glass (BMG). Both new models are equipped with sapphire crystal dials, fully showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship and complex construction of the movement.

The new Audemars Piguet skeletonized perpetual calendar movement blends cutting-edge technology with traditional craftsmanship, allowing us to easily understand the harmony between daily rhythms and cosmic cycles while further optimizing the user experience. The perpetual calendar function automatically recognizes changes in the number of days in different months, and even leap years, accurately displaying the date and week number. When fully wound, the watch will not require manual date adjustment until 2100 to ensure consistency with the Gregorian calendar. This exploration of astronomical calendrical complications has been a central part of Audemars Piguet's 150-year watchmaking history, inspiring generations of master watchmakers to continuously evolve and create haute horlogerie masterpieces that resonate with contemporary lifestyles while upholding traditional craftsmanship.

The Calibre 7139 movement features Audemars Piguet's patented crown adjustment system. This simple and intuitive "all-in-one crown" mechanism, meticulously developed by Audemars Piguet engineers, aims to streamline the case design and the adjustment of various functions. First introduced in the Calibre 7138 movement in 2025, this is its first application in a skeletonized movement. The wearer can easily adjust all calendar functions with a single crown, without the need for any tools and without any risk of damage. The crown has four adjustment positions: 1, 2, 3, and 2', responsible for winding, time setting, and all calendar display adjustments, respectively. This innovative system is driven by a patented stem and planetary gear train, engaging with different calendar function gears at positions 2 and 2'.

Furthermore, the Calibre 7139 movement also draws inspiration from the cutting-edge innovations of the Calibre 5133 perpetual calendar movement. First introduced in 2018 in the Royal Oak Automatic Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Watch (RD#2), the Calibre 5133 pioneered the reintegration of the multi-layered perpetual calendar functions into a single layer. The new movement continues this concept, merging the end-of-month calendar wheel into the date wheel, and combining the month cam with the month wheel. The crown adjustment mechanism becomes a second layer, a design that allows the movement to maintain a slim 4.1 mm thickness. Based on the Calibre 7120 automatic movement, this new movement features a balance frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), a minimum 55-hour power reserve, and upgraded practicality and durability.
